first time in ACV

I've read many post in the internet about ACV. Im experiencing acid reflux since i gained 4 kilos after giving birth of my youngest. This is my first time using Apple Cider Vinegar. I hope it will work! bought one bottle in the market today April 1, 2011. Will update you soon..

Editor's note: Hi Jacky, thanks for your note. From what you've written it would seem that you are trying the Apple Cider Vinegar for acid reflux and perhaps weight loss too. I would be most interested to know how it works for you.

I went on youtube and typed in how to get rid of acne and a bunch of videos popped up suggesting ACV. I didnt ty it yet because I am still kinda wary about it. I go to school with pretty severe acne and dont like it at all. Will ACV work? And how long will it take to see results?

When I read posts like yours, I wish I had a miracle cure for acne cause I know how hard it is to go to school with bad skin.

I can't say whether Apple cider vinegar will definitely work for you. Some people have good results and others see no improvement. It all depends on how your body reacts and what is causing the acne to happen in the first place.


Try it as a tonic (drink) first, but dilute it to suit your taste and get used to it. You can find the recipe on the main apple cider vinegar for acne page about half way down. Read through the whole page carefully and think about what recipe you might like to try out directly on your skin.

Please be sure to never put the undiluted ACV on your acne as this can burn and make your skin more inflammed. Do a small patch test to see how your skin reacts.

Aloe vera gel is also very good to put on acne as it soothes the inflammation, has antibacterial properties and helps the damaged skin to heal.

ACV - I'm Trying It

I've read a couple of stories only about how ACV helped people cure their acne, and so I finally got myself to buy a bottle of it to try. At 13 years old I started to get blackheads on my nose, then pimples all over my face. Many on my forehead, some on my chin, and on my cheeks as well. Now I'm 15 and it's way worse. I even have acne on my back and chest! I hate how it looks and some people think that acne is caused by the lack of hygiene- but it's not that. I noticed that if I only wash my face every other day, the acne reduces. So I only wash it every other day now, but still cleanse it with a damp towel after waking up and going to bed. I've never used any acne creams or stuff like that since most of that is expensive and I can't really afford it. ACV is the cheapest thing so I want to give it a try. I really hope it helps.

First time ACV user

I have done a lot of research on reducing or eliminating acne, it is not for me though but for someone very dear to me.

We have started using a product with neem and turmeric in it and it help cleanse the face and neck and reduce breakouts of cystic acne however, there are now breakouts in the body and the skin is very dull and the acne worsen due to poor diet with lots of fatty foods in it.

I bought the organic ACV and hoping to start this week. Maybe we can also use is a topical treatment and as tonic drink. I will update you guys for our results.
