Quit after 23 yrs of smoking Day 2 and 3 by: Scott Boucher
Well, day 2 and 3 have passed and I have not had one smoke. Day 2 was kind of tough but day 3 was pretty easy. If you have not read this book it is a must for all people trying to kick the addicition.
Day 2 I was getting light headed and had some temptations but just keep telling yourself you are not going to smoke. Take deep breaths and hold your last one to get you through them. I have had alot of trouble sleeping on day 2. Sleeping for a hour or 2 and then jumping awake. I beleive it is just the nicotine trying to tell me it needs more but I didnt give in. You cant smoke if you never light the cigarette.
Day 3 was pretty good. Some thoughts about smoking but then I got my hands on the book mentioned above and now I feel like this is going to be a peice of cake. I wish I would have found the book sooner.
I have been coughing quite a bit but it is just my body getting rid of the garbage in my lungs.
I dont look at this as giving up smoking, I am getting my life back.
